–The Littlehampton Society’s 50th Anniversary Celebration–

This June marks the Littlehampton Society’s 50th Anniversary!

We appreciate the support received from members. Despite the extraordinary circumstances these past 2+ years we are aiming to get back on track with periodical updates on paper & online as well as our regular coffee mornings which are now back up and running as per usual. The membership dues also help us to share information about the town with the membership, to go to public events with a stand and leaflets and to carry a collective voice to our elected representatives. We hope we are doing a good job and are always open to more assistance if you wish to get involved further.

This June marks the Littlehampton Society’s 50th Anniversary! As a thank-you you are invited to celebrate with an afternoon tea and guest speaker. We are pleased to share the afternoon with Mr Nick Gibb, MP for Littlehampton and Bognor Regis.

There are limited places for this event for members only. Please RSVP ASAP.

NEW GUIDANCE GIVES CIVIC SOCIETIES A MORE MEANINGFUL VOICE IN THE PLANNING SYSTEM

In the Government’s new Design Guidance, community panels or forums can be set up by local planning authorities or third sector organisations, such as Civic Societies, to represent the views of local communities by scrutinising plans, policies or applications.

Read here to see how Epsom’s Civic Society are getting involved.
