This month we are pleased to have a very pertinent presentation in the Quakers Friends Meeting House, all about the history of the Quakers!
Lesley Batchelor and Richard Marler from Littlehampton Quakers will give an illustrated talk about the history of Friends Meeting House and Quakerism. They will explain about 2024 being ‘Fox 400′ year and the activities of early Quakers like George Fox and William Penn in Sussex. Quakers’ historic links to chocolate manufacture, prison reform and peace work will be explored. The talk will finish with an up to date description of Littlehampton Quakers. There will be a fun quiz at the end with chocolate prizes!
